Tour de France, Day 4. Thor Hushovd keeps his (wet) yellow jersey
I could’ve put up a photo of Cadel Evans, and he would’ve deserved it for his stage win today, but I can’t look past Thor for his effort to keep the yellow jersey. Traditionally a sprinter, he managed to climb as well as guys many kilos lighter and came in 6th, at the same time as the leading group.
At 33, Hushovd is definitely not the sprinter he once was, but the way he finished both today and yesterday (by leading out for Tyler Farrar) suggests he might be expanding his répertoire.
