Tour de France, Stage 13. Thor Hushov comes over the mountains and takes the stage I’ve been a bit light with my descriptions of the last couple of stages - mainly because I didn’t see much of them, being away from the computer for the past couple of days. I managed to sit down and watch most of today’s stage and watched in wonder as the fast twitch muscle fibres of Thor Hushovd somehow managed to get him over the day’s mountains. Last week, I suggested that Thor Hushovd had changed from the sprinter he once was, to something closer to a classic rouleur. This stage confirmed that he is capable of greatness in many different areas.
